Florence Dining - Trattoria Zá-Zá

One of my fondest memories from my trip to Italy with my sister Wendy was dining at Trattoria Zá-Zá. Located right on the Central Market's piazza (where we ignorantly bought some less than stellar leather coats), Zá-Zá serves up simple, yet delicious Italian staples in a beautifully rustic setting. I was so wowed by the pasta served in a walnut sauce that I bought the cookbook (which is now 35Є and available on their website). The English translations in the cookbook are entertaining, and the recipes are quite good as well.

Lunch is a good choice if you want to avoid the crowds, as this place is quite popular, but you can also make reservations for dinner.

Trattoria Zá-Zá
